Cody W Urban
CEO and Founder of 7D Studios, Writer, Director, Editor

Born and raised in southern California, Cody W Urban has always had a passion for storytelling. His earliest memories include writing stories and having his mom do the actual writing because he was too young to spell. After writing numerous short stories and unfinished books through his young life, he wrote one story that close friends encouraged him to make into a movie. Feeling inspired, he wrote his first screenplay and rallied his friends, family, and church into producing MY BEST FRIEND. After making two feature films with 7D Studios, Cody has graduated from California State University, Northridge with a BA in Cinema and Television Arts and continues to work and strive to be the best writer, editor, and director he can be. In 2008, he married Heather and the two of them actively involve themselves in their church and with their beloved dogs, Juneau and Bailey.

Heather Joy Urban
Production Assistant

Born in Pasadena and raised both there and in Palmdale, Heather has always been a creative spirit and eager to try new crafts, like music, sign language, animal training, painting, drawing, journaling, etc. While dating Cody, she became a key player in the conception and development of 7D Studios and has either been active in front or behind the camera in diverse ways to help make quality productions. In 2008, she married Cody and currently works toward her BA in American Sign Language.
